There’s been a lot of talk about whether or not Microsoft will buy Activision Blizzard King, especially Sony’s fight to try and shut down the deal. But the British CMA is expected to give your verdict tomorrow Wednesday, and according to analysts at the investment firm Wedbushthe judgment will be favorable to the purchase:

“We expect the CMA to approve the transaction in exchange for Microsoft’s commitment to certain behavioral remedies that help govern its cloud gaming practices.”

Once the UK authority presumably approves the acquisition, the EU will follow, and possibly the US and their FTC. According to the same analysts, this means that the deal will be completed within the time frame set by Microsoft when it announced its intention to buy Activision Blizzard King in January last year. Wedbush says the following:

“Once the UK and EU approve the transaction, we expect the US Federal Trade Commission to do the same. We remain confident the deal will be completed on time, within Microsoft’s fiscal year ending June 30, 2023″.

What do you think, will Sony manage to stop the deal or will it continue as planned?
