The previous year, Horse Mode simply turned the characters into horses. This year, however, there will be a Horse Wrangling mode to temporarily take over from Hide and Seek mode. It is unknown what Horse Wrangling mode will be and if players will be able to play the normal Hide and Seek mode. Along with awakening your inner rider, the new update will also have new cosmetics such as hats, visors, and dog tags.
“Horse Mode” was originally a prank Inner Sloth pulled off in 2021. However, it became a reality in 2022 for April Fool’s Day. Given that Inner Sloth also performed two back-to-back April Fool’s Day joke cards (“ehT dlekS” in 2020 and 2021), that could change things next year.
Among Us is available for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and mobile devices. The April Fool’s Day event will appear in Among Us from March 31, 2023 to April 2, 2023.
