As you would expect from a game set in the wizarding world, Hogwarts Legacy will allow your student to cast many different types of spells to do what they need to do. From combat to puzzle solving, you’ll need to use a wide range of spells to see all that Hogwarts has to offer. Here are all the spells you can use in Hogwarts Legacy.

All the spells you can learn at Hogwarts Legacy
There are a total of 31 spells you can learn in Hogwarts Legacy. Some focus on combat aid, but not all do.
- stock – Summoning spell. The object you are handling will come towards you when you throw it.
- allohomomorous – Opens doors and locks.
- modification spell – Change the shape of objects in the Room of Requirement.
- ancient magic – Increases your attack power for a while and breaks shields.
- ancient magic font – Grab environmental objects and throw them at your opponent to break their guard.
- time of arrest – Slows down objects and enemies.
- open kedavra – The Killing Curse, instantly reduces an enemy’s health to zero.
- basic attack – Just a quick burst of energy to damage enemies and shatter environmental objects you start the game with.
- Bomb – Causes an explosion.
- To break – Long-range bolt attack that bursts incendiary damage.
- incantation spell – Craft items in the Room of Requirement.
- I torture – Causes the target immense pain and causes them to take more damage over time.
- i was knocked down – Knocks enemies and objects away from you.
- descending – Hitting an object or an enemy on the ground.
- dividing – It is used to cut or tear an object.
- Disillusionment Amulet – This spell will completely cover you in any environment.
- Evanesco – Makes items disappear in the Room of Requirement.
- let’s hunt – Hit anything an enemy is holding.
- Flip – Knocks back enemies and objects.
- ice – Freeze enemies.
- Empire – Forces enemies to momentarily become your partner.
- Fire – Lights near burning objects and enemies.
- The old – Makes objects float.
- Walnut – Emits light from the tip of your wand. This is obviously used to light up dark hallways and can scare away the Devil’s Snare.
- total petrificus – Temporarily causes the victim’s body to become completely bandaged.
- protected – The shield amulet, a spell that will be very useful to you in all the fights you will face in the game. Deflects the spells and weapons that are thrown at you.
- I reveal – Reveals hidden objectives.
- repair – This spell repairs broken objects. We see it used to completely rebuild a collapsed bridge in the gameplay trailer.
- Stupefy – Stuns enemies.
- Transformation – Transform objects and enemies into something else.
- Wingardium leviosa – Gives you more control over floating objects.
