The Trial of Percival Rackham is a main quest in Hogwarts Legacy, and a bit tricky in many ways. One of the most difficult objectives is “Complete Percival Rackham’s Trial”, in which you explore a magic maze under the tower where you found Rackham’s painting, and there are lots of moving platforms and magic arches to face.

How to Complete the Percival Rackham Essay
Completing this objective doesn’t actually complete Percival Rackham’s trial quest (you need to beat a boss to do so), but solving all the puzzles on the moving platform will complete this objective.

The first platform puzzle is quite simple. As Accio, pull the platform towards you and jump on it. Move it to the right, then search for ancient magic to open the bow. Go back to the platform, go past the arch and jump behind the arch. You can now continue south to the next puzzle.

Go down the stairs under the platform, then up the stairs to the right. Ancient magic hangs in the air, so you need to stop the platform so you can stand on it to investigate ancient magic.

Then, cross the arch from south to north so that the bridge disappears. Go south of the chamber and pull the platform towards you. Now cross the arch from north to south for the bridge to come back, and go up to the bridge. Pull the platform towards the bridge, jump on it, then pull towards the south side exit.

The third, last and most difficult puzzle platformer begins after defeating some of the Pensieve protectors. Search for ancient magic, then pull the platform towards you and jump on it. Approach the platform in front of the arch, then use the hook behind the arch to get a little closer to the arch, but not beyond.

Then drop down to the left, but not quite left. You want to stop as close to the arc as possible. Now use Accio on the platform you can see through the arch, and both platforms will slide up to the arch so you can jump onto the other platform. You can now push yourself to the south side of the chamber and complete the objective.
