Mika is fresh out of the Final Fantasy franchise. No, he’s not really from Final Fantasy, but his resemblance to the classic Chocobo is uncanny, with his bird-like hairstyle and scarlet locks. He will join the Genshin Impact roster in patch 3.5 as the next 4-star Cryo character and is designed to provide unique benefits to your team as a specialist support character. Learn more about what this bird boy does in this guide:
Mika ataca and Genshin Impact
- normal attack: Perform up to 5 consecutive hits using his crossbow and spear.
- charged attack: Consumes a certain amount of stamina to dash forward, dealing damage to opponents along the way.
- diving attack: Dive from the air to hit the ground below, damaging opponents along the way and inflicting AoE DMG on impact.
Mika’s elemental ability in Genshin Impact
- Frost Whirlwind: Mika uses his crossbow to attack, granting Soulwind to all nearby characters in your party. When characters in the Soulwind state are on the field, their ATK SPD will increase. It will take effect in different ways if touched or held.
- Faucet: Fires a frost arrow that can pierce opponents, inflicting Cryo DMG on enemies it comes in contact with.
- Plug: Goes into aiming mode, locking onto an opponent and firing a Rimestar Flare at them, inflicting Cryo DMG. When Rimestar Flare hits, it rises before exploding, launching Rimestar Shards at up to 3 other opponents, inflicting Cryo DMG.
Mika Elemental Burst and Genshin Impact
- Skyfeather Song: He draws the ability to incite his teammates from the recited prayers of the Order of Knights, regenerating HP for all nearby party members. This heal is based on Mika’s Max HP and will grant them Eagleplume status.
- Eagle feather: When active characters affected by Eaglefeather’s normal attacks hit an opponent, Mika will help them regenerate HP based on their Max HP. Characters affected by this state can only regenerate HP this way once per short period.
Mika’s passive abilities in Genshin Impact
- Demarcation: Displays the location of nearby Mondstadt-exclusive resources on the minimap.
- Repressive barrage: Under the following circumstances, the Soulwind state caused by Starfrost Swirl will grant characters the Detector effect, increasing their physical DMG by 10% while in the field.
- If Flowfrost Arrow hits more than one opponent, each additional opponent it hits will generate 1 detector stack.
- When a Rimestar Shard hits an opponent, it generates 1 stack of detectors. Each Rimestar Shard can activate the effect 1 time.
- The Soulwind state can have a maximum of 3 detector stacks, and if Starfrost Swirl is cast again during this time, the existing Soulwind state and all of its detector stacks will be erased.
- Topographic mapping: When an active character affected by Skyfeather Song’s Eaglefeather and Starfrost Swirl’s Soulwind simultaneously gets a CRIT hit with their attacks, Soulwind will grant them 1 stack of Suppressed Barrage Detector.
- During a single instance of Soulwind, 1 stack of detectors can be obtained this way. Additionally, the maximum number of stacks that can be obtained from Soulwind alone is increased by 1. Barrage must first be cleared to unlock it.
constellation
- Confluence of factors: Starfrost Swirl’s Soulwind state can reduce the healing interval between instances caused by Skyfeather Song’s Eaglefeather state. This percentage decrease is equal to the ATK SPD increase provided by Soulwind.
- Companion Income: When Starfrost Swirl’s Glacial Flow Arrow hits an opponent for the first time, or its Rimestar Rocket hits opponents, 1 sensor stack of the “Suppressing Flurry” Passive Talent will be generated. You must first have unlocked the “Suppression Flurry” passive talent.
- Recognition Experience: Increases the level of Skyfeather Song by 3. The maximum enhancement level is 15.
- Solar Frost Commendation: When Mika’s Skyfeather Song’s Eaglefeather state heals party members, it will restore 3 energy to Mika. This form of energy restoration can occur 5 times during the Eaglefeather state created by 1 use of Skyfeather Song.
- Signal arrow: Increases the level of Starfrost Swirl by 3. The maximum enhancement level is 15.
- Associate lawyer : The maximum number of sensor stacks Soulwind can gain from Starfrost Swirl is increased by 1. You must first have unlocked the “Suppression Flurry” passive talent. Additionally, active characters affected by Soulwind will deal 60% more physical CRIT DMG.
