How to Use Item IDs in Sons of the Forest
You don’t need to know how to use console commands in Sons of the Forest to be able to spawn items. Instead, you will have to manipulate the save file, which means incorrect use of item codes can lead to save file corruption. To avoid this, check your entries and make a backup of your save file. Here are the steps to generate items:
- Navigate to the following location on your computer: (conduct:)>Users>Your username>AppData>LocalLow>Endnight>SonsOfTheForest>Guardar
- Select the folder with your Gamer ID, then go to single player oh multiplayerdepending on the backup file you are looking for.
- Open the last saved files folder, then look for a file named PlayerInventarySaveData.
- Open this file in Notepad or another text editor of your choice, and locate the following code sequence: “:()})}}”}}
- Once you find it, append the following string to it: {“ItemId”:ItemID,”TotalCount”:NumberOfItems,”UniqueItems”:()}
- Replace Item ID section with the list item ID, and number of objects how many of them you want to spawn with.
