Hogwarts Legacy is full of side quests that take you through the game world in search of treasure, slobbers, and more. In one of the first quests, The Daedalian Keys, you’re tasked with finding 16 Daedalian Keys around Hogwarts, and they’re not easy to locate. This guide outlines where all the Daedalian Keys are, so you can complete this quest in no time.
All Daedalian Key locations in Hogwarts Legacy
Here we’ve broken down each Daedalian Key location, explaining where it is and which Floo Flame you need to use to get to it quickly.
Daedalian Key 1: Astronomy Tower

The first Daedalian Key you will be pointed to is in the Astronomy Tower. The closest chimney you can get to is the astronomy tower Once there, go up the stairs in front of Floo Flame and you will immediately see the key. Follow him up the stairs to the next classroom, where he’ll float past a cabinet. Press the key to open the cabinet and you will have completed this first part of The Daedalian Keys quest.
Daedalian Key 2: The Grand Staircase

To find this key, go to The Floo Tower Grand Staircase Flame. Head to The Grand Staircase and you should eventually come across the Daedalian Key while doing so. He’ll fly lower in the ladder, so follow him a few more floors. You will come to a landing where you can see a puzzle door on your right. Keep running, and the cabinet will be just beyond it, at the end of the hall.

Daedalian Key 3: Defense Against the Dark Arts

Travel to Defense Against the Dark Arts Floo Flame for this key. Go down the stairs from the Floo Flame to the Rhino Skeleton. The key is inside and it will go up the stairs as soon as you get there. Go up the stairs and head left, and follow the wall until you find the cabinet at the end.
Daedalian Key 4: The Great Hall (Key 1)

To get this key, go to Floo Flame of the Great Hall. From there, open your map and mark the Viaduct Courtyard Floo Llama. Follow the path through the door and you’ll come across a Daedalian Key. Follow it up the stairs to find the cabinet in the lower right.
Daedalian Key 5: The Great Hall (Key 2)

To find the second key around the great hall, go to Floo Flame of the Great Hall. This time, enter the Great Hall and go left. Go to the puzzle door to activate the key. Now go to the other side of the Great Hall and up the stairs to the cabinet. The key will fly shortly after you arrive.
Daedalian Key 6: The Great Hall (Key 3)

quick trip to Floo Flame of the Great Hall. Take the large double doors on your right to exit, go down the stairs and continue to the right under the archway. This leads to the Quad Court, where you should be able to see a flying key. Follow him up the stairs and to the right. This will take you to a door in the castle, but the cabinet is to the right of that door.
Daedalian Key 7: The Central Hall (key 1)

Since Central Hall Floo FlameHead to the greenhouse doors. Don’t cross them. Instead, head into the alcove on the left to find the key. Now turn around and head towards the doors of the Court of Transfiguration. Again, do not exceed them. Check the alcove on the right to find the cabinet.
Daedalian Key 8: The Central Hall (Key 2)

To find this second key in the central hall, go to The Floo Flame in the Central Hall. Climb the stairs as if you were going to the Viaduct. Of course, do not go through the doors. Instead, turn right and look under the ladder to find the key. Now follow the key up a flight of stairs to the right to find the cabinet.

Daedalian Key 9: Library

Travel to Floo Llama Library and look for the key on the shelves to the right of the area. Follow the key to the left side of the room, where you’ll find the cabinet to the front of the location. Near the Floo Flame.
