In a way, Alhaitham is like every other Dendro character in Genshin Impact when it comes to the artifacts you want to put on him. Generally speaking, if you want to perform a Dendro character, you want a 4-piece Deepwood memory set to get the most out of its effect. However, this effect occurs even if the character with the set is inactive. Therefore, the choice of artifacts for Alhaitham largely depends on who you play it with.

When choosing your artifacts for Alhaitham, you should prioritize: Dendro DMG, Elemental Mastery, and the usual crit stats. Honestly, you can also put everything in the elementary realm. This is because Alhaitham’s Dendro DMG increases each time you promote it. So what outfits should you try to choose? Fortunately, your two best artifacts are available on the same domain.

The best artifacts for Alhaitham are:

4 Piece Deep Wood Souvenirs

As mentioned above, you don’t necessarily need Deepwood Memories in Alhaitham itself. You can even put it on a non-Dendro stand if you want. As for the 4-piece set, using elemental abilities or bursts will reduce the opponent’s Dendro RES by 40%. Since Alhaitham’s kit makes heavy use of Dendro DMG, this will always be a big help.

Dreams of gold 4 pieces

Dendro is a fantastic item when it comes to elemental reactions. So if you have someone in your lineup who runs Deepwood Memories, you can put Gilded Dreams on Alhaitham. In fact, the best set of artifacts in Alhaitham is Gilded Dreams. You will need to think about what items you put in your lineup due to the Gilded Dreams buff. I personally recommend stacking Alhaitham with non-Dendro characters to increase his Elemental Mastery instead of his ATK.

2 pieces Deepwood + 2 pieces EM memories

If you cannot collect 4 pieces of the two sets of artifacts mentioned above, you can give Alhaitham a Chimera set. You can probably get away with two different Elemental Mastery sets (eg 2 Traveler Companies and 2 Golden Dreams). However, I think the Dendro DMG boost from Deepwood Memories gives the best results.

So to speak, Alhaitham is a fairly easy character to build. He just needs elemental mastery as he is entirely dependent on a sub-DPS to help with his reactions or to buy time for his long cooldown. You power build it solo DPS Dendro. However, even if you choose this path, the artifacts you will place there are the same as if you were building an EM-focused Alhaitham. There are literally no wrong answers as long as you cultivate mastery of the Arrow of Solitary Enlightenment.

Genshin Impact is available for PS4, PS5, Windows PC and mobile devices.
