Roguelike-tinged action platformer Elsie is a title we haven’t heard much about lately, but thankfully that seems to be changing as publishers Playtonic Friends and The Completionist and studio Knight Shift Games have released a new soundtrack. – title announcement.
This is a fairly long clip that gives an in-depth look at the bosses and biomes that will be present in the game. As for the biomes, we are shown the first location, the Eclipse Skyport, as well as the volcanic cave of the Forgemaster’s Cauldron and the nature kingdom of Garden. Each of these areas will be ruled by a guardian enemy, with Celestia being the boss of Sky Harbor.
As for the story that Elsie will tell, in the game, players will step into the shoes of the protagonist android, who will embark on a mission to clean up the amazing world she calls home.
For those wondering when Elsie will arrive, an exact release date has yet to be mentioned, but we’ve been told the game will be coming to PC and Nintendo Switch later this year, with development “moving forward at big steps”. .
