In Fortnite: Battle Royale, Season 6 has begun and the first update of the season is approaching. This update aims to fix some annoying bugs. We will show you what bug fixes are planned for Update 16.10.

That’s what’s going on in Fortnite right now: A whole new season started a few weeks ago with Season 6, bringing some new features, new weapons, and map changes. This also includes features like hunting wild animals and crafting ancient weapons.

Now the “first” update of the season is right around the corner and according to Fortnite Trello some bugs should be fixed. Update 16.10 might bring new content again, but first we look at the bugs that should get a fix.

Fortnite: season 6 patch notes – what’s new?

8 annoying bugs in the game

What bugs are in Fortnite right now? The Fortnite Trello lists several bugs that are currently in the game and are being worked on. These bugs should be fixed with Update 16.10:

  • Split Screen “Ready Button” Issues
  • Double XP notification on legendary quests in groups – may incorrectly indicate a level increase
  • Shark Island Anomaly Doesn’t Always Show Up
  • The Legacys of Season 5 – Chapter 2 not shown
  • Visibility is extremely limited during a storm.
  • Opening the inventory cancels actions like opening chests and resurrecting teammates.
  • Character missions do not count towards progress towards general challenges.
  • Stackable items are not split when Shift-dragged

Especially restricted visibility in a storm can be quite annoying and even lead to removal. Sight is currently so limited that you cannot see the way forward and sometimes you even run into obstacles while the storm causes damage to the character.

When will update 16.10 arrive?

When should the new patch appear in the game? There is still no exact date when Update 16.10 will be released. A release of the next patch this week doesn’t seem unlikely. From experience, the most important updates are released primarily on a 2-week cycle and would now be the second week of Season 6. Possible dates would be:

  • Tuesday, March 30, 2021
  • Wednesday, March 31, 2021
  • Thursday, April 1, 2021

However, please note that these dates have yet to be officially confirmed. As soon as Fortnite officially announces update 16.10, we’ll let you know about it here on DLPrivateServer.

These bug fixes might please some players, because bugs are annoying in a round. However, it is not the only problem that bothers gamers at the moment. There are discussions about whether the new prehistoric shotgun needs a nerf. Especially in the competitive scene, some professionals complain that the pump gun is too strong. If Fortnite will bring a Nerf for the weapon, we probably won’t see that until update 16.10.
