Nothing is likely to stand in the way of the previously set release date for Final Fantasy XVI. The next installment in the popular Square Enix series has just gone gold.

Unfortunately, these days, lags of all kinds have become a daily occurrence for the gaming industry. Fans eagerly awaiting their favorite games, which often hit the market with significant delays, are hurting the most. However, it looks like Final Fantasy fans will be left out of this list.

Square-Enix informed via the game’s official Twitter profile that the the sixteenth main installment of the iconic role-playing series has gone gold. This means that the developers have already finished the work and the release of the discs will start soon.

Of course, it should be noted that Final Fantasy XVI “gold” does not mean that the game will be flawless. However, the developers will have, if the game does hit shelves as planned (let’s not forget the case with Cyberpunk 2077), up to three months to prepare for a possible launch update.

Finally, remember that final fantasy 16 will start on June 22. At first, the title will only be available on PlayStation 5 consoles, but it is also expected to come to PC in the future.

Introverted by nature. From an early age, he felt closer to humanism than to science. Instead of math exercises, he preferred to lock himself in his world and invent new stories from his favorite anime: Dragon Ball. After years of study, came a moment of stagnation, which he preferred to call “the search for a goal”. Seeking destiny at the 58th screening of his beloved Die Hard, he decides, like John McCLane, to fight for a better future. He found a way to do it on GlobeLiveMedia. Since you’re still a freshman in the newsroom, you don’t yet have a target topic you want to focus on. So you can expect news on farming sims or the impact of Johnny Depp’s lawsuit on the future of Pirates of the Caribbean. If you’ve ever heard that playing console games and watching movies is useless, remember this story.
