Each state has determined the requirements to determine who is eligible and has also established the amounts to be distributed. 1.- Alaska
Alaska is the state that is giving a bigger stimulus check to its residents. The approved amount is up to $3,200 per eligible person. This check is part of an annual dividend that the state distributes regularly as a way to share some of the oil revenue it earns. It is part of the Alaska Permanent Fund, which has been established since 1982.
The check is divided into two payments: $650 for energy assistance and the regular stimulus check for $2,250. Some will be able to receive their money in their bank accounts before September 20. Those who want a paper check, it will arrive by October 3.
2.- California
California is going to grant payments that can reach up to $1,050 dollars. The money will be sent as a tax refund. Payments will begin to be distributed beginning in October 2022. To be eligible, residents must have filed their 2020 state income tax return and earned less than $250,000 a year if single or $500,000 a year if single. it is about a couple filing a joint return. 3.- Colorado
Colorado is providing tax rebates of $750 for single taxpayers and $1,500 for those filing jointly. To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old as of December 31, 2021 and have filed a state income tax return for tax year 2021 by June 30, 2022.
4. Maine
In the state, $850 inflation stimulus checks are being awarded to its residents. According to data provided by the governor, some 858,000 Maine residents will benefit from this economic stimulus in 2022.
5.- South Carolina
Residents who have filed a tax return by October 17 can receive a tax refund of up to $800. Refunds will be directly deposited into the accounts of nearly 80% of taxpayers who selected the option.
6.- Minnesota
This stimulus check is focused on helping essential workers in the state of Minnesota, who are receiving financial aid of $750 dollars. Around 670,000 frontline workers benefit from this financial support.
