The highlights on Disney + in August 2021
Cruella: Everyone knows her: The bitterly angry fashion designer Cruella de Vil, who wants to turn the eponymous puppies into a fur coat in the cartoon 101 Dalmatians. After the first real film adaptation with Glenn Close in the role of Cruella was made in 1996, the story of the villain’s origin now follows.
Young con artist Estella (Emma Stone) is determined to become a great fashion designer. She manages to get the attention of fashion legend Baroness von Hellman (Emma Thompson). You can certainly imagine that this relationship will not end well. The best way to see how Estella becomes Cruella is for yourself from August 27, 2021 on – from then on Cruella is included in the Disney + subscription for everyone.
What If?: After the huge success of Loki (the next Marvel series) already starts on 11 August 2021. What If is an animation series based on the comics of the same name. Here you can see what would happen if significant events in the Marvel Universe had turned out differently – for example, if instead of Steve Rogers his girlfriend Peggy Carter had become the first super soldier.
