THIS AMAZING OBJECT USED ON THE SET OF SEX SCENES

Even if there are fewer sex scenes in this second season of The Bridgerton Chronicle, the fact remains that they have to be prepared and organized on set, in particular with the help of a coordinator. of intimacy, Lizzy Talbot, already present on the first season of the Netflix series created by  Chris Van Dusen for Shondaland.

For season 2, Jonathan Bailey, the interpreter of Anthony Bridgerton, revealed to Radio Times that objects were also used to respect safety distances so that the private parts do not touch, and in particular a rather unusual object, a netball ball [sport derived from basketball, editor’s note]:

“It’s amazing how this whole industry is growing, even in a year. There are new tricks in the business – little cushions – and it’s amazing what you can do with a half-inflated netball. If there are two people performing a sex scene, the rule is that they must have three barriers separating them and there are certain acts where a half-inflated netball can allow certain movements without having to physically connect. It’s really silly and we had a few hilarious moments, but it makes it less awkward.”
