During the fall 2022 season, an anime aired which quickly became one of the most loved by its fans and it is Bocchi the Rock!, adaptation of Aki Hamaji’s manga. This weekend the ninth edition of the Anime Trending Rewards and Bocchi the Rock! It was one of the most recognized anime, as it won in eight categories, including that of Anime of the year 2023.
Yesterday, Anime Trending held its annual awards ceremony for anime that aired throughout 2022, and one of the productions that received the most recognition was the first season of Bocchi the Rock, which aired from October to December 2022. Additionally, after winning Anime of the Year, Bocchi the Rock won in seven more categories and placed in the top 3 out of four others.
The categories that the anime of Bocchi the Rock! at the Anime Trending Awards are: Anime of the Year, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Episode Direction and Best Screenplay, Best Soundtrack, Best Voice, Comedy Anime of the Year, Musical Anime of the Year and Slice of Life Anime of the Year. In addition to winning eight categories, the Bocchi the Rock! it came second in three others: Opening Theme of the Year, Best Animation, and Girl of the Year with Hitori Goto, losing the latter to My Dress-Up Darling’s Marin Kitagawa. Bocchi the Rock! it also placed third in the Best Character Design category.
