Users on social networks reported that they were prevented from accessing the venue due to apparent fraud with tickets.

December 9 promised to be a memorable day for Bad Bunny fans in Mexico City, as the Puerto Rican performed at the Azteca Stadium on the occasion of the World’s Hottest Tour. However, the spirits of the attendees began to decline hours before the start of the show because many of them did not manage to enter the venue due to apparently cloning and forgery of tickets.

Given this situation and the multiple complaints that some Internet users began to expose on social networks, in which it was pointed out that apparently the workers of the venue even went so far as to tear up the tickets and denied access to the fans, and when night fell some of those present they tried to resort to all kinds of strategies to enter.

Such was the case of a group of young people who went behind bars to sing a traditional Mexican song and ask for a posada in the mere December style.

Through Twitter, the user identified as Alan Ramírez (@ramirez7alan) shared the moment in which several of the followers of The Bad Rabbit conglomerated to carry out a desperate action.

“The fans who were defrauded by #TicketMaster, asked to enter the Bad Bunny concert at the Azteca Stadium to the rhythm of the Mexican inn, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry anymore. #BadBunnyCDMX | #EstadioAzteca |#BadBunny”, reads the description of the tweet.

In the same way, in the brief audiovisual one can observe the moment in which several people are gathered and sing some verses to ask the employees to allow them access: “I ask you for a lodging, because my beloved wife cannot enter.”

The moment quickly went viral on social networks and some netizens lamented that multiple attendees have been scammed during what seemed to be one of the most important concerts of the year.

“I can’t, in full indignation they made me smile.” “Magical Mexico”. “Chalet”. “The situation is screwed up, but I don’t wish it on anyone”, are some of the comments that appeared on Twitter.

Given the multiple testimonies of the people who were left without access, Ticketmaster ruled during the early hours of December 10 on the facts.

“Ticketmaster apologizes to fans and announces a refund to legitimate ticket holders who were unable to access Bad Bunny’s concert today,” the statement read.

The company announced that the inconveniences during the entrance of the attendees “were the result of the presentation of an unprecedented number of false tickets, which caused an agglomeration of people out of the ordinary and an intermittent operation” within its system.

Derived from these actions, confusion was generated and entry to the stadium was complicated, “with the unfortunate consequence that some legitimate tickets were denied entry.”

To receive the corresponding refund of the ticket for the Bad Bunny concert in Mexico City on December 9, it is necessary to send an email to the following address: [email protected]

Likewise, the ticket office specified that the refund will only be valid for those who have purchased legitimate tickets through official channels and those who, according to the electronic record, have not been able to access the concert.
