Kanye West is investigated for assault case in Los Angeles

The police are in the process of investigating a report of aggression filed against the interpreter of the song “Praise god”.

The incident that led to the complaint occurred in downtown Los Angeles around 3 am Thursday, said Redina Puentes, the city’s police spokeswoman.

The street where the alleged assault occurred is outside the Soho Warehouse, an exclusive celebrity club, but no arrests have been made so far.

“Kanye allegedly pushed and then punched a male fan, the case is being investigated as misdemeanor assault, a felony that carries a maximum jail sentence of 6 months,” as reported by the TMZ portal.

Currently, Kanye West is in the middle of divorce proceedings with the socialite Kim Kardashian, who requested in December to be declared legally single and to have the last name removed that she adopted when she married him.
