Egyptian Actress Hanan Suleiman published a post on her personal account on the social networking site “Facebook”, on the occasion of the month of Ramadan, and commented: “Oh, I am the Christian who eagerly awaits Ramadan. People gather to break their fast, yes, I am the Christian who waits for Ramadan series.”

And she added: “Oh, I am the Christian who prefers her children to ask her during Ramadan. Yes, I am the Christian who sees that there is no need for her name to be Christian and Muslim other than as worship. Yes, I am the Christian who loves her Muslim companions. Yes, I am the Christian who sees that there is no need to separate us, I am the Christian. My religion says that because God is love, every year and we are good, good, healthy and happy, and Ramadan Kareem for all of us, may God bring it back to us and our beloved Egypt with goodness, Yemen and blessing.

Hanan’s post sparked widespread controversy on social media, and her followers questioned her religion. She replied and settled the controversy, saying: “I am a Muslim, but I loved the post.”
