The property is in Malibu, and has 7 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms

Beyoncé, 42, and Jay-Z, 53, have just bought one of the largest architectural works in the United States: a mansion of approximately 2,700 square meters in the prime area of Malibu, California, for US$ 200 million – the equivalent of R$ 1 billion, according to the current price.

According to TMZ, this is the most expensive house ever sold in the entire state of California, surpassing the previous record of US$ 177 million. It is also the second most expensive real estate deal in the country – the first was the sale of an apartment in New York, which cost US$ 238 million.

A good deal

According to the outlet, Beyoncé and Jay-Z may actually have bargained for the house, which had previously been put up for sale for US$295 million. The property is in the mountains and overlooks the Pacific Ocean, in the Paradise Cove area – also known as the “billionaires’ area”.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s new mansion has 7 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.
