The Adecco Group Board of Directors announced on May 5, 2022, following a carefully planned succession process, the appointment of Denis Machuel as the new chief executive officer (CEO), who will succeed Alain Dehaze on July 1, 2022. How reports a press release from the Group, the transition will take place in June, after a handover period lasting one month.

Denis Machuel, 58, is a highly experienced, world-class CEO with a leadership background in global business services and technology and engineering consulting. Machuel was most recently CEO of the Sodexo Group, a people-centric company with more than 400,000 employees in 56 countries. Under his leadership, Sodexo transformed underperforming segments (including in the United States, the company’s largest market), driving the digital and data transformation of core businesses, strengthening their execution and leading to greater growth. Prior to becoming CEO of the Group, Machuel held several global leadership positions at Sodexo, including CEO of two of the company’s business units, as well as group chief digital officer. Before Sodexo, he spent 16 years in the Altran Group. He was CEO of Altran Technologies and subsequently assumed executive leadership of the Group’s offshore strategy and operations. He was appointed to the Kyndryl Board of Directors in 2021. He will be based in Zurich.
