Toyota has struck a blow on the important table in the automotive industry after placing the 2023 Toyota Crown on the market, a completely luxury sedan with a hybrid engine that has everything to conquer consumers in the United States.

Aesthetically it shows elegance and luxury everywhere thanks to its curved and aerodynamic design that perfectly complements the front grill, which covers the entire body in front by means of a design of microgrids that protrudes a little in a rectangular way.

In addition, it leaves a slight space at the top where the Asian manufacturer’s logo is located, as well as a long structure that makes up the LED headlights that stand out by means of a fine line that conveys the sensation of communicating with the rest of the bodywork.

Toyota describes its latest creation for the luxury sector as “a reimagined sedan with bold styling, superior comfort and a raised ride height,” which will be available through tthree variants (XLE, Limited and Platinum), all with an all-wheel drive (AWD) system.

Mechanically, it does its thing through two proposals for hybrid motorization: Hybrid MAX & Toyota Hybrid. The first one has a 340 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque thanks to the combination of two front and rear electric power units together with a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

On the other hand, the Toyota Hybrid variant offers front and rear electric motors with a 2.5-liter engine, which offers an EPA-estimated 41 miles per gallon of consumption range.

Aesthetically, it can be equipped with 19-inch or 21-inch wheels, while technologically it stands out via a full digital display, piano key controls, vertical wireless charging port, and the new Toyota Audio Multimedia system with 11-speaker JBL Premium Audio System package included.

Safety has also been a key factor in the development of the vehicle, which is why the Asian brand introduced Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 (TSS 3.0)with Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Awareness with Steering Assist and Lane Tracing Assist, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Road Sign Assist, Proactive Driving Assist, Spot Monitor blind and rear cross traffic alert.

Pricing for the 2023 Toyota Crown starts at $39,950 for the XLE model, $45,550 for the Limited grade, and $52,350 for the Platinum variant. Finally, this luxury sedan is expected to arrive at company dealerships in early 2023.
