Land Rover has revealed the new Defender 75th Limited Edition as part of the brand’s 75th anniversary, featuring a unique feature set alongside an attractive design.
Land Rover has decided to honor the 75 years of the brand through an anniversary model named Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition, which appears under a set of striking features, whether technological, mechanical or aesthetic.
The physical form of the truck stands out at first glance through a square or rectangular design, even a little minimalist but quite attractive. The bodywork stands out with simple yet elegant aerodynamic lines that flow from the grille, across the hood and down the sides.
Precisely, the front grille can be classified as small compared to other cars thanks to a rectangular grille decorated in gray and black that only covers the front part without extending to the sides as in other models.
The headlights appear with a semicircular design along with two small lights that complement the frame of this piece.
The interior has been decorated in Cross Car Beam colors finished with brushed Grasmere Green Powder Coat.
At a technological level, the 3D surround cameras, Meridian sound system, Matrix LED front lighting, 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system, front screen and wireless device charger stand out.
On the other hand, the P400e plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) powertrain for the 110 models, along with P400 and D300 Ingenium petrol and diesel options. All options are listed with (MHEV) technology to optimize power delivery and fuel economy.
“Since the new Defender was introduced, customers around the world have fallen in love with it and demand remains extremely strong. This new limited edition captures the spirit of the last 75 years”, says Estuardo Frith, chief engineer of the Defender line.
“With its color and details, it fuses innovative new technology, such as hybrid electric power, configurable terrain response, over-the-air software updates and unmatched off-road capability,” Frith said.
Finally, prices for the Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition pickup are listed at $90,000 for the 90 model and $93,000 for the 110 variant.
