Actor Octavio Ocaña’s girlfriend reacted to his death: “You leave me dead in life”

In the early hours of this Saturday, the death of actor Octavio Ocaña, an actor known for his participation as “Benito” in the series, was reported. Neighbors, who supposedly died after participating in a police pursuit and receiving some bullet holes.

The unfortunate event was confirmed through the Twitter account of El canal de las estrellas, a company that also used its Twitter account to send its condolences to the actor’s most loved ones.

“Octavio Ocaña, known for playing Benito Rivers in Neighbors, passed away yesterday afternoon. We join in the grief of the actor’s loved ones and friends, to whom we send our sincere condolences. Rest in peace ”, can be read from the official account.

In the last hours after the report of his death, new details about his life have emerged. Especially, the relationship he had with his girlfriend Nerea Godínez, with whom he got engaged to marry at the beginning of this 2021.

In social networks, both wrote dedications constantly. Even a few weeks ago, the actor decided to share a postcard with his girlfriend during a walk through Arandas, Jalisco. On the postcard he wrote: “Thank you for being by my side when I need it”.

On the other hand, before his premature death, Octavio’s sentimental partner posted a message on her Instagram account:

“My beautiful daddy, you leave me dead alive. I love you, I love you, I love you for all eternity,” she wrote in her Instagram stories along with a video that created the program Tell me now to pay tribute to the career of the young man.

In addition, Nerea shared some details about the funeral of her fiancé: “The last goodbye to Octavio Ocaña will be in Gayosso Santa Mónica above Mundo E. Thank you for your messages and tokens of affection, he carries all the love that I always had for him. Honor to whom honor deserves, will always live in our hearts. Fly high, Octavio,” she wrote in a statement signed by the Pérez Ocaña family.

According to journalist Carlos Jiménez (@ c4jimenez), the actor allegedly spent two consecutive days in Villa Nicolás Romero with some acquaintances and was “shot to death” last Friday.

Local media indicated that the chase occurred on the highway Chamapa-Dairy. There, three subjects were allegedly arrested -among them Ocaña- who were driving aboard a gray Jeep truck.

Preliminarily, it was mentioned that after the attempt to flee, the truck collided with a private vehicle that was passing through the area. Of the event the driver was injured (Octavio Ocana) and another of the detainees.

Civil Protection elements came to the site to help those who were injured and the detainees were transferred to the Public Ministry. So far, the state authorities have not ruled on the matter.

In addition, the producer of the series, Elías Solorio expressed his disbelief at the events and regretted the loss of a great friend.

“I can not believe it. Rest in peace, my dear Octavio . You leave all of us who knew you very sad. Have a good trip, Benito”, he said.
