Dakota Johnson says filming ’50 Shades of Grey’ was chaos

Without a doubt, the film that positioned Dakota Johnson in the film industry was ’50 Shades of Grey’. But not everything went as we think, because the shooting was quite a challenge for the actress.
She herself reveals through a television interview what it was like to work in the production , since she mentioned the importance that the saga had in her professional career.
Doing erotic and nude scenes on the big screen shouldn’t be easy, now imagine if it’s your first experience at 20, because that happened to Dakota, who said the following for Vanity Fair magazine: ” I was young, I was 23 years old ” I was scared . It became crazy. There were a lot of disagreements. I’ve never been able to talk about this honestly because you want to promote a movie in the right way. I’m proud of what we did , but it was complicated.”

“She had a lot of creative control, she demanded certain things happen. There were parts of the books that just didn’t work on film, like the interior monologue, which was incredibly cheesy at times. It was always a battle.”

Also, it seems the recordings were a never ending story when James decided to add dialogue to scenes that were already recorded.
“We did the shots that she wanted to do and then we did the shots that we wanted to do. The night before she would rewrite scenes with the old dialogue so she could add a line here and there. It was like chaos all the time.”
Despite not having agreed on many things, Dakota Johnson does not regret being part of the cast . She jokingly mentioned that if they had known what she had in store for them during filming, no one would have accepted her to be part of the project.
