The 7.1 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale would have occurred this Wednesday off the coast of the Philippines, according to information provided by the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The National Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) would have issued a tsunami threat in the area, the earthquake has occurred at a depth of 65.6 kilometers.
For their part, local authorities have ruled out the possibility of a tsunami, so they called the population to calm down.
