The incident took place when the interviewer asked Biden this question: “You say you know Putin well, Do you think he’s a murderer?”
“Yes, I do.” Biden answered immediately.
As is known, in recent years the accusations of the actions of the Russian secret services due to the deaths of Putin opponents, including abroad, have been frequent.
The last case was the poisoning of Alexei Navalni. He has saved his life, although he has been imprisoned. Biden has had some personal encounters with Putin in which the now US president, in his own words, attributed to him amorality in their actions.
Russia has evidently rejected the accusations, and has called his ambassador in Washington, Anatoli Antnov, the traditional gesture of initiation of international crises.
Putin has proposed a direct and online meeting with the President of the United States – “It will be interesting for the people of Russia, the United States, and other countries” – he said.
But it is also ironic. He has also said, during a public ceremony that: “I’ll say ‘Good health!’ to Biden. No irony.”
And he also recalled that “when we were children we said: he who insults like that, is called like that”.
