A deliveryman saved the life of a three-year-old girl by catching her in flight when she fell from the balcony of her apartment on the twelfth floor of a building in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, the local press reported on Monday.
According to the images published by the website of the Tuoi Tre newspaper, the girl climbed the bars of the balcony on Sunday afternoon and was left hanging on the outside, supported with one arm, while the surrounding neighbors gave shouts of alarm to someone to help her.
Nguyen Ngoc Manh, a 31-year-old delivery man waiting for a customer at the entrance of the apartment block, heard the screams, rushed out of his car and climbed onto a metal roof on the first floor, just below the balcony on which she was suspended the girl.
“After climbing onto the six-foot-high roof, I saw the baby fall. At that point, I slipped, but tried to reach out to reach her. Luckily, she fell into my arms, we both fell and crashed into the metal roof “, he told the newspaper.

The man said he was scared when he saw blood in the girl’s mouth and immediately took her to hospital, where doctors determined that she had a broken leg and arm, but her health was stable.
Manh, who said he had a daughter the same age, suffered a sprain, which she downplayed because she had been able to do “something significant.”
