OG Esports has announced that it will enter the Dota 2 Berlin Major with a slightly different roster than the one that secured qualification for the event. The reason for this decision is due to VISA application issues, which prevent some team members from traveling and attending the tournament in person.
As noted in an OG post, the organization reveals that the VISA process was apparently going well until three applications were denied last week, meaning the team had to scramble to find players replacement to avoid losing their place in the event.
In this case, OG has announced that Kartik “Kitrak” Rathi and Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov will replace two of their members.
As for when the Dota 2 Berlin Major will be set, the tournament starts today and will run until May 7.
