This year we cannot have any complaints with the one piece manga. The Egghead arc features many epic fights in which true New World heavyweights go head-to-head. After the confrontations of Shanks, Kid, Law and Teach it is time to give way to that of SWORD against the Blackbeard Pirates. Take part in this contest characters about whom there is practically no informationas is the case for Hibari.
Personally, I really liked the design and the ability that Eiichiro Oda gave to this young lady, but what I didn’t expect was that the One Piece fan community would elaborate a curious theory about its origin. Apparently, Hibari wouldn’t be just any navy soldier, but descended from one of the most important positions.
Hibari is Akainu’s daughter?
- First of all, it should be noted that Hibari has yet to appear in the anime. of One Piece, as introduced at the start of the Egghead arc and he didn’t do anything noteworthy until manga chapter 1080
- His first appearance was Chapter 1061 when he asked his superiors to please authorize an operation to save Koby from the clutches of Blackbeard, and despite his appearance in very few panels, some readers found something odd about the character
- Apparently, Hibari speaks Japanese with the Kansai-Hiroshima dialect, and that’s something only her and the Fleet Admiral do. (no other people use it in the whole room)
- Considering that and the fact that they are both Marines and Sakazuki is a 55 year old guy, he was created the theory that Hibari is Akainu’s daughter
- Other possible clues that give strength to this rumor are that the young He loves Koby very much (one of the few who stood up to his supposed father and one of those who tried to stop the Marineford war) and who she was the first victim of Kuzan’s attack (Sakazuki’s direct rival) in Chapter 1081
Personally, I think it makes a lot of sense that Hibari is Akainu’s daughter.. All of these clues fit perfectly with the theory and it would explain why he belongs to SWORD, since he would surely stand against his father’s decisions and leave the Navy in protest.
If it’s true, the most likely thing is that it will end fall in love with Koby after his act of bravery and humanity at Marineford and seeking refuge under the aegis of someone as respected as Garp. Do you think that will be the case or is that a flawed theory?
