The fourth and penultimate Major of the Call of Duty League 2023 season is now complete. Although only four months away in 2023, CDL is looking to launch its fifth and final Major in early May, which will then lead into the Championship weekend in mid-June.
But back to the first, as we now have a winner to report regarding Major IV, and that sees defending champions CDL return to the top as Los Angeles Raiders ended up defeating OpTic Texas to win the tournament.
The Rogues beat OpTic 4-2, having secured their place in the Grand Finals by defeating OpTic in the Winners Final earlier in the day. This meant OpTic had to survive the Elimination Finals where the Atlanta Faze awaited in order to earn a Grand Finals berth for another shot at the Rogues. In the end, OpTic made short work of Faze, going 3-0, and faced the Thieves again, which turned out to be a miss for them.
This result puts the Rogues back on top and dubbed them the team to beat as we enter the final stages of the 2023 season.
