Valve made a move just hours ago that leaves no doubt

I don’t know if you’ve been on the scene lately, but it looks like something big is about to happen when it comes to the franchise. Counter-Strike. Valve keeps making really suspicious moves regarding CSGO, with the datamining community finding both by three references to a possible sequel to it in their own lines of code. Is a CSGO 2 coming? It seems.

This is something that I don’t say lightly, because Valve is known to be a company that launches very few of its own projects and its hand doesn’t shake when it comes to canceling all those that are necessary to offer a legendary level product. But it’s that everything indicates that the announcement of the aforementioned CSGO 2 is imminent; above all, because of the last movement that the company made. I leave you with all the information below so you can understand what exactly I’m talking about.

Counter-Strike 2 would be just around the corner

  • The fact is that Valve very recently registered the trademark Counter-Strike 2 in the United States Patent Office, as collected by colleagues PCGamesN
  • Moreover, it appears from the record that this patent is also related to the CSGO franchise
  • Given the rumors that They’ve been dating for a few days, I wouldn’t be surprised if Valve announced something very soon

But… Could it be a full sequel?

Considering CSGO still works like a shot today, I’d be very surprised if Valve chose to put the game aside to go zero on a full sequel. This is nothing more than pure speculation, but I bet it’s a huge update to the original CSGO; a patch that allows the game to switch to a new engine from the company.

What do you think and you? I read you in the comments.
