The life system of today’s society demands to have everything quickly, from food, to communication and even to the way in which information is obtained.
A new tool for artificial intelligence (IA), known as GPT chatallows you to generate any type of information in seconds, in the language of your choice.
“GPT Chat is a tool, a chat powered by the AI tool,” says digital strategist Pablo Ortega. “But the curious thing about him is that he acts like he’s a human being.”
A group of Japanese researchers presented this Thursday in Tokyo an autonomous suitcase that avoids obstacles in order to guide the blind at the airport without the need for a cane or a guide dog.
How does Chat GPT work?
This artificial intelligence tool works through a machine learning process, called transformer, which relies on artificial neural networks to process and generate natural language.
This model was created by Open AI, an artificial intelligence research organization founded by Elon Musk along with other entrepreneurs.
GPT Chat contains data from books and articles to generate consistent responses, just like a human would. This is how this platform is defined through the web.
“For example (you can use it to) give you a summary of a movie or request historical data,” says Ortega.
What controversies has GPT Chat generated?
It is these data that are controversial, since this system was used by the students to carry out their tasks. This is why Ortega also recommends caution with this tool.
“You should always verify that the answers are correct if you’re going to use them,” Ortega advises.
According to Elon Musk, his automaker is also developing the next generation of artificial intelligence devices, including a general-purpose humanoid robot capable of performing dangerous, repetitive or boring tasks. The businessman gave an example and said that the robot could be told to “go to the store and buy the following foods”.
This tool began to be used in all aspects, as it also helped the entrepreneurs of a beer business to create a recipe that became a complete success.
However, on a pedagogical level, it was criticized by the American philosopher and linguist Noam Chomsky. The educator called Chat GPT high-tech plagiarism and a way to avoid learning.
According to Ortega, artificial intelligence will be used by all companies to analyze conversations, provide insights and data that can help their growth. However, the government will have to develop some regulations to control this information.
