The 2023 Oscars have passed and all the iconic statuettes have found their owner. Or we could almost say owner -in the singular-, since Everything at the same time everywhere won 7 of the 9 awards for which it was nominated, including that of best film.

Overall there were few surprises tonight, as Brendan Fraser won another award for his stunning performance in The Whale, Avatar: The Shape of Water won Best Visual Effects and All Quiet on the Western Front. won the award for best international feature film.
