Miami-Dade Police units and a SWAT team moved to an apartment complex in southwest Miami-Dade after a shooting was reported Friday morning that left two people dead , as confirmed by the police.
The SWAT team could be seen operating in the apartment complex located in the 19800 block of southwest 114th Avenue.
Officers maintained a police perimeter in the area and neighbors told Telemundo 51 that the event was caused by a shooting in which a man took part, who then barricaded himself there.
Police spokesman รlvaro Zabaleta confirmed to Telemundo 51 that the incident resulted in two deaths, the victim and the suspect who fired, who was apparently killed by authorities.
