The Swede played with Milan Under-18s in training

This week Zlatan Ibrahimovic he lived a unique moment in his career and that, perhaps, he would never have imagined. During the last training of the Milanothe striker who is recovering from injury featured in a game with the Italian club’s Under-18s and shared minutes with his son Maximilian 16 years old.

The former Barcelona and Manchester United player is 41 and in 2023 he has yet to play so far this year as he needs time to recover from a ligament injury in his left knee. But it looks like his comeback is close as he could be part of a youth reunion.

There, he shared a facade with his son, then shared a video on social media of his best relationships. Moreover, even before the initial whistle, they both smiled at each other, knowing that what they were about to experience was going to be something unique.

It is that it is not common for this to happen and the cases are few in the history of football. One of the best known is that of the Brazilian Rivaldo when he wore the Mogi Mirim jersey for the promotion of his country to be with his son Rivaldinho. It also happened with the Icelandic Eidur Gudjohnsenwhich coincided in the selection with Arnor and with the Argentinian Beto Acostawhen he came out of retirement to play for Fenix, in the fourth division, and play alongside Mickael.

Ibrahimovic has a contract with Milano until the end of the season and there doesn’t appear to be any intention for the Italian side to renew their bond which is why there is speculation that the 41-year-old forward who also has wore the jersey Juventus e Inter Milano in Serie A. In one of his last interviews, he denied that he planned to retire, so that his career could continue at another club.
