Nothing for anyone! Santa Tecla and FAS clashed goalless at the Ana Mercedes Campos stadium, on the 7th date of the El Salvador – Clausura 2023 tournament.

The best man of the match was Maynor Pérez. The Santa Tecla defender had a good level.

Kevin Carabantes also stood out at the Ana Mercedes Campos stadium. The FAS goalkeeper shone.

There were 3 cards in the match: Cristian Gil, Wilma Torres and Rudy Clavel. Diego Lemus was sent off for a direct red card in the 47th minute of the second half.

Santa Tecla coach Ernesto Corti suggested a 4-3-3 formation with Joel Almeida in goal; Walter Torres, Raul Renderos, Elio Castro and Marlon Trejo on the defensive line; Diego Lemus, Víctor Landazuri and César Flores in the middle; and Rafael Burgos, Gilberto Baires and Víctor García in attack.

For their part, Manuel Zambrano Viera’s team entered the field with a 4-3-3 pattern with Kevin Carabantes under the three sticks; Ibsen Castro, Rudy Clavel, Lizandro Claros and Rubén Marroquín in defense; Jairo Martínez, Rodrigo Rivera and Juan Camilo Salazar in midfield; and Wilma Torres, Cristian Gil and Rolando Blackburn up front.

Referee Ismael Cornejo Meléndez was in charge of supervising the match at the Ana Mercedes Campos stadium.

On the following date, Santa Tecla will face CD Dragón as visitors, while FAS will play at home against Luis Angel Firpo.
