Nestor Isidro Perez Salas’ partner is the daughter of a former associate of ‘Chapo’ Guzman who was extradited to the US.
At 31 years of age, Nestor Isidro Pérez Salas is one of the most wanted criminals by authorities in the United States (US), because he is the head of security for Los Chapitos, the faction of the Sinaloa Cartel led by the sons of Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán.
The neighboring country identifies him as the commander of ‘Los Ninis’, a group of violent hitmen in charge of protecting the Sinaloa drug lord’s descendants. As a result, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is offering a reward of up to US$3 million in exchange for information leading to his capture.
Néstor Isidro, also known as ‘El Nini’, ‘El 09′ and/or ‘Chicken Little’, was born on March 9, 1992 in Tijuana, Baja California. From an early age he had intentions of getting involved in organized crime and thanks to Óscar Noé Medina González, alias ‘El Panu’, was how he joined the ranks of the Sinaloa Cartel.
He is currently considered one of Los Chapitos’ most ruthless hitmen. His name is the source of a series of narcocorridos that recount the violence with which he operates. El Nini’ has even been linked to Peso Pluma – the top representative of the corridos tumbados – according to declarations by Dámaso López Serrano, alias ‘Mini Lic’. In her most recent book Las señoras del narco: Amar en el infierno, Anabel Hernández provided relevant information about Pérez Salas. According to the drug trafficking specialist, his wife is Gabriela Gisela Fernández Amezola.
Also known as Gabysela, this woman is the daughter of Manuel Fernández Valencia, alias ‘La Puerca’, a drug trafficker originally from the community of El Aguaje, in Michoacán. Her mother has been identified as Martha Claudia Amezola Galindo, according to the publication.
La Puerca’ was an associate of ‘Chapo’ Guzman and was dedicated to trafficking marijuana to the US. In 2010, ‘Nini’s’ father-in-law was arrested by federal authorities in Culiacán, the main stronghold of the Sinaloa Cartel. He was apprehended along with seven other individuals who were seized with firearms.
That same year, Gabysela’s brother, Marcial Fernández Amezola, was murdered by alleged hitmen from the Beltrán Leyva organization who mistook him for one of ‘Chapo’s’ sons, according to Anabel Hernández.
After being extradited to the US, Gabysela’s father was sentenced to 27 years in prison in early December 2016.
Despite the above, Gisela made her own life, although she never distanced herself from the world of drug trafficking. Although the year she married ‘El Nini’ is unknown, it is presumed that they have a son together.
This is how the daughter of ‘La Puerca’ became one of the “princesses” of the Sinaloa Cartel. On social networks, especially TikTok, there have been multiple clips of Gabysela, who often poses in front of cameras wearing luxury brands and heavy makeup.
Despite her relationship with Los Chapitos’ hitman boss, it has not been established that Gabysela is involved in criminal activities. This contrasts with her husband, who is facing charges in the Districts of Columbia and New York for his ties to drug trafficking.
