For date 8 of the Brazil – Gaucho Championship 2023 tournament, Esportivo took three points this Saturday as a visitor against Avenida. The goal of the match for the locals was scored by Carlos Henrique (30′ 1T, from the penalty spot). While the away goals were scored by Richard (20′ 2T) and Vinicius Kiss (42′ 2T, penalty).

The figure of the meeting was Vinicius Kiss. The Esportivo striker scored 1 goal and 3 times on target against Avenida.

Another of the key footballers at the Ildo Meneghetti stadium was Rafael Copetti. The Esportivo goalkeeper performed well against Avenida as he saved 5 shots.

For their part, those led by Carlos Moraes failed with a 4-3-3 strategy with Rafael Copetti under the three sticks; Márcio Lima, Cleyton, Jean Pablo and Roger in defence; Leandro Bulhões, Fabrício Lusa and Xandy in midfield; and Vinicius Kiss, Marcus Vinicius and Richard up front.

The appointed referee for the match was Tiago Pires Staduto.

Avenida will visit Brasil-RS the next day, while Esportivo will host Ypiranga at the Montanha dos Vinhedos stadium.
