Trial of the former Concordia police chief for child abuse: the prosecution requested 12 years in prison

Querencio was charged with the crime of “aggravated sexual abuse with carnal access and taking advantage of the immaturity” of the victim, which provides for a sentence of 8 to 20 years in prison according to the Penal Code.

And although he was separated from his position some time after presenting a license, he is still at liberty, but prohibited from approaching and any type of contact with the minor, his mother and the coordinator of the minor program Robert Tribulattiarea where the victim lived.

Recall that the complaint was filed by the mother of the minor at the end of July 2019, and assured that at this precise moment “he had her (his daughter) at the police station and forced her to have sex and a fellatio”. and that the sexual intercourse to which they were subjected took place for “at least a year”, according to the accusation of the prosecutors Mario Guerrero, Mauro Jaume and Evelina Espinosa.

Moreover, he said he discovered the events when he checked his daughter’s mobile phone and that the former policeman “was looking for her from the school and from where she lived”, a provincial youth residence for minors. He also ‘threatened’ her that if she filed a complaint, he would find her, take her to a field and kill her,’ the mother said in her accusation.

The minor who denounced the former police chief assured the local press that the defendant “wasted her life” and that what she suffered could have been suffered by other girls.

For all this, the prosecution requested that he be sentenced to 12 years in effective prison, to be served in penal unit 3 of this city of Entre Ríos.

In this context, the intense search continues and “without excluding any hypothesis”, neither on the place where she could be found nor on the decisions she would have taken and that is why, sweeps have been carried out in different neighborhoods of Colón and surrounding towns. , as well as trained dogs and trained staff, with no positive results.

The prosecutor’s office also reported that numerous security cameras were monitored at different locations, but Campodónico’s whereabouts could not be determined.
