Bogotá’s massive public transport system, TransMilenio, announced, at around 2:36 p.m. on February 16, 2023, the suspension of service via its Twitter account:

“Due to an electrical storm alert, the operation of the #TransMiCable system is temporarily suspended.”

The service, which has four stations and consists of a 3.34 km long commercial service line that begins its route from the Tunal portal, will resume operations until further notice.
