Tom Sizemore, the well-known ‘Saving Private Ryan’ actor, has died at the age of 61.

Sizemore has long struggled with drug addiction and throughout his career he faced a litany of Legal issue. He was convicted in 2003 on charges of domestic violence following an accusation of assault brought by his former fiancée, Heidi Fleiss.

When the wave of the global “MeToo” movement peaked in late 2017, Sizemore was also accused of fumbling in 2003 at a 11 year old girl from Utah on stage. No charges have been brought against him.

In an interview with Fox News in 2021, Sizemore shared his intentions to get sober:I’ve been trying to get sober since 1991… I have a problem for a long time. I had periods, long periods, of sobriety and I ended up relapsing“, he explained then.
