Valencia (Spain), 14 Feb. Spanish health services have managed to save the baby of a pregnant woman who was shot in the head and died after a Caesarean section on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old woman was in an advanced state of pregnancy and was shot dead during a brawl last night in a town in the province of Castellón (eastern Spain).
She was transferred to the Clinical Hospital in the city of Valencia, where she died after health workers managed to ensure the creature’s survival, official sources reported.
The police are investigating a fight in the street between several people at the origin of the event.
The victim received a shot that would have been fired from a car, according to sources on file, and it is excluded that the event is linked to gender-based violence. EFE
