The Wellness Secretariat has announced the opening of new late modules, which will be installed in certain areas of Mexico City. The idea is that people who have not come to collect the new Banco de Bienestar card can do so as soon as possible.

And it is that a few months ago, a retirees who receive their resources from Banamexto exchange their card for one from Banco de Bienestar, so they can now get their money back for their new plastic.

However, the head of the Secretariat, Ariadna Montiel Reyes he still reported a lot of delay, which is why he invited to locate the so-called straggler module, where the elderly people assigned to the welfare pension will have to present themselves, to receive their cards.

Ariadna Montiel assured that the March 15 This will be the deadline to be able to attend the modules and complete the said procedure.

“It is very important to pick it up before March 15 to continue to receive pension in a timely manner,” the organization pointed out.

Montiel Reyes pointed out that the elderly who receive their pension via the Banamex card, -and who have not gone to receive the Wellness card-, do so as soon as possible, since the bimonthly March April it will be the last to be deposited on this card.

It will be important to note that seniors who do not make the change will have their deposit suspended, since they will not have the means to receive it.

According to the agency, there are at least 464 modules in the country. They will provide attention to citizens from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

For those who have recently registered, they only need to present their valid government-issued photo ID and the green registration stub.

Elderly people who cannot travel to the module, a parent must then bring the required documentation and request a home visit to gather information and issue a card.

To date, more than 11 million seniors receive 4,800 pesos in economic aid every two months. However, during this month, the double has been paid to the elderly who live in two entities of the country. These are the states of Coahuila and the State of Mexico, regions where the elections for the change of government will be held on June 4. For this reason, the elderly who reside in these sites have already received their pension or are about to receive more than 9,000 pesos.
