In coordination with other state institutions, military surveillance and reconnaissance operations were carried out, with the technical personnel of military intelligence, they said.

A citizen was apprehended and 4,000 gallons (approximately 15,000 liters) of acetone, 100 gallons (approximately 378 liters) of distillate, a rifle, four 16-gauge cartridges, nine microwaves, fifteen bags of calcium chloride, five drums of acid were seized. and four scales.

In addition, a vacuum packer, an electric generator, 110 gallons of diesel, a truck, two gas cylinders and two pulleys.

Police Commander Fausto Salinas said the investigation “has led to the location and destruction of a cocaine hydrochloride processing laboratory in the La Barquilla sector, via La Bonita, Sucumbíos”.
