The Attorney General of Querétaro, Alejandro Echeverria Cornejo He reported that 58 supporters will be banned from the La Corregidora stadium for a period of between 3 and 4 years, due to the events of March 5, 2022. This situation is due to the orders that were taken against him by the crime of violence in sporting events, even that will prevent them from accessing other types of events.

The public is preparing to return to the stands of the La Corregidora stadium, in Querétaro, after the period of sanction which had been given to the establishment for the fight that took place between the bars of Gallos Blancos and Atlas. The veto was for a year, as the proper security protocols for a match of such magnitude were not respected.

The holder of the Attorney General of the State of Querétaro detailed, during an interview with different media of the entity, that they made a statement to the board of directors of the White Roosters Club where it is reported that access was denied to 58 people involved in the acts of violence.

The team will be responsible for carrying out the corresponding actions to ensure compliance with this decree, which it will apply for three years to some concerned and four to others. “They cannot attend any type of event, not only sporting, but also public. Afterwards It will be up to the directive to be awaretaking care that these people do not return to the stadium,” explained Alejandro Echeverría Cornejo.

According to what was commented by the prosecutor of Querétaro, there are less than 30 arrest warrants to fill, also clarified that more than 100 people have not been identified. The 58 people sentenced to date They won’t go to jail, despite racking up more than 150 years of punishment together, because they have accepted their guilt and will pay a small bond for repairing the damage, which will set them free.

The head of the FGE said that almost a million pesos were raised reparation agreements that have been reached, however, he clarified that no one has come forward to claim what corresponds to them, since most of those affected live in the state of Jalisco.

“It is a precedent that we will always be aware of as soon as an event of this nature occurs, in the part that corresponds to us we will be in the front line”, concluded Echeverría Cornejo

The 58 convicts participated in the acts of violence that occurred on March 5, 2022 inside La Corregidora Stadium. It was during the duel of the 9th day of the Clausura of that year, of the Mx League, between Querétaro and Atlaswhen the bars of the two teams clashed.
