Bories beat La Liga Universitaria 4-2 on penalties and qualified for the next phase of Chile – Copa Chile 2023. Yonathan Valderas, Nicolas Cardenas, Nicolas Andrade and Boris Perez converted for the winning team, but Mauricio Vilchez squandered his chance, while for the loser Matias Medina and Matías Sanhueza Juica turned their twelve-step shot into goal, but Ricardo Godoy and Marco Alvarado squandered their chances.

With this result, the Bories found themselves with the pass for the second phase of Chile – Copa Chile 2023.
