On February 22, a new proposal arrives on Netflix. This is the english movie The foreigners (the wanderers) directed and written by Nathaniel Martello-White and starring Ashley Madekwe (Revenge, The Umbrella Academy) as Neve, the protagonist of this story.

This woman leads a peaceful life that she has always dreamed of since childhood: she teaches in a private school, lives in a comfortable house with her family and is loved by her group of friends. But this peaceful life will be changed when two intriguing characters appear in his life that the viewer does not know who they are or what they want but that Nave immediately identifies. They are a man and a woman who appear to him from nowhere everywhere. But what drives Neve crazy is that no one else can see them, only she identifies them and knows who they are.

In an interview for the film’s premiere, director Martello-White reflected on the true meaning of this story beyond being a horror movie: “I hope it really humanizes how hard life is. and hard for some people, and the choices that make them choose. What forces them to do is what’s not always good. It’s not always human, but I think people do things extremes to survive”, justified the creator.
