In a statement, the Attorney General of the Nation revealed that thanks to the investigative work carried out by the Asset Pursuit Group of the Directorate of Transitional Justice enabled us to identify a finca known as Aliherwhich would have been used to keep kidnapped people by the so-called forehead Jose Pablo Diaz from the northern block of extinction United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (ASC).

The property is located in the municipality of Galapa in the department of Atlantic, on the Troncal del Caribe, and has an approximate area of ​​three hectares. In this sense, the pursuit requested and obtained precautionary measures of embargo, seizure and suspension of the power of decision on the fincabefore the Justice and Peace Guarantees Control Chamber of the Barranquilla Superior Court to prevent the property from being used with illicit purposes or becomes available while the investigation is ongoing.

Likewise, the Aliher Farminitially valued at more than six billion pesos, was handed over by the Department of Transitional Justice to the Victims Reparations Fundentity responsible for administering the seized property and assigning it to the integral reparation of the victims of the armed conflict.

In addition to this property, the pursuit made available to the Fund four other assets located in Cartagena, department of Bolívar, in San Onofre (Sincelejo) and Majagual, department of Sucre. These goods, worth 1,017 million pesos, would be linked to the Blocks Montes de MariaMojana and Centaurs UPS off.

It should be noted that the Asset Pursuit Group of the Directorate of Transitional Justice, endeavored to identify and recover assets obtained through criminal activities and which were used to finance or commit crimes.

On the other hand, the Attorney General also delivered to Victims Reparations Fundbetween February 13 and 20 of this year, a total of ten properties located in the departments of Antioquia and Córdoba, which belonged to two AUC Blocks and the brothers Gil brownwho founded and led the defunct self-defense forces.

One of the delivered goods is the finca known as “La Blanquita”, located in the municipality of Amalfi, Antioquia. The property, which covers more than 320 hectares, was valued at more than 1,150 million pesos and, according to public records, this finca It was one of the first assets purchased by faithful brownone of the leaders of the CSA.
