The PRI responded to the Movimiento Ciudadano and accused it of not being an opposition party

The national president of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), alexander Alito Moreno Cárdenas, responded to accusations of Citizen movement (MC), after the party announced that it would not participate in the electoral processes of 2023, and judged that this party had not established itself as a real opposition institute.

Through his official account, the leader of the PRI targeted the orange party and accused it of not being up to the needs of Mexico, for whom He called his attitude “cowardly” by deciding to side with the elections to be held this year in Coahuila and in the State of Mexico.

Likewise, he judged that with their attitude they would have shown that they had only followed the indications dictated by the National Regeneration Movement (Morena), which is why They did not have the “courage” to be part of the opposition to the federal government.

“Once again, @MovCiudadano shows that This is NOT up to the crisis the country is going through. They cowardly say to stand down, but what they’re really doing is repeating the speech they’re dictating to Morena. Again MC didn’t have the guts to be an opponent,” he wrote on Monday, March 6.

This is not the only message that the federal deputy also sent, since he directly accused the orange party of disregard families of the two entities that will have elections in June, for which he pointed the finger at MC for allegedly being on the wrong side of history.

Through a third tweet, the PRI member judged that, despite the attitude taken by the Movimiento Ciudadano, Mexico is not for “lukewarmness”that is to say, the country is not ready to do things without courage or determination, since he explained that the Va por México coalition—composed of the PRI, PAN and PRD—has joined and works with citizens to avoid the destruction that Morena governments would bring.
