Members of Forum Madridan international alliance between various political personalities, delivered a letter to the Organization of American States (OAS) -signed by dozens of deputies and foreign parliamentarians- against the “interference” denounced from Peru.

In recent months, presidents like Gustavo Petro and Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO)-the presidents of Colombia and Mexico, respectively- have referred on more than one occasion to the political crisis in the country.
The comments have multiplied in recent days, after AMLO classify as “false” Dina Boluarte, President of the Republicand Petro considered “Nazis” members of the Peruvian National Police (PNP).

The Forum met in Washington DC with the OAS Secretary General, Luis Almagro, and presented him with the document bearing the signatures of 188 parliamentarians from fourteen nations.
“The destabilization campaign against Peru has been denounced. The letter details actions against the Peruvian government since the letter from Maple, Petro, Fernandez and Lopez Obrador, to the protests of vandals, passing through the false humanitarian mission, made up of agitators linked to Cristina Kirchner”, indicated the entity.

The president has ordered the dismissal of Manuel Talavera, Peru’s ambassador to Mexico, after statements by AMLO, whom she accuses of “interfering in internal affairs”.
The institution also warned “against the claim of the São Paulo Forum and the Puebla Group to move the AEO“, this with the aim of replacing it “with a CELAC at the service of the tyrannies of the continent”.
“Forum Madrid is determined to thwart the interference of the São Paulo Forum and the Puebla Group. If the overthrow of the Peruvian government is allowed, as a result of this interference, no nation will be safe.
